Richard A. Nichols

SPENCERV1LLE - Richard A. Nichols, 67, died at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Lima Memorial Hospital , where he bad been a patient since Feb 25. He was born Nov. 21,1913, in McGuffey. the son of William M. and Elsie G. Coppler Nichols. On Jan. 16, 1939, he married Nova I. Sorgen, who survives. Mr. Nichols was a retired machinist for Ex-cello  He was a member of Spencerville Church of the Nazarene. Deep Cut Lodge 311, Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Speedville CB Club of Spencerville and High Point Chapter Camping Club of Bellefontaine. Survivors also include two sons,  two daughters,  11 grandchildren; a step-grandchild; two brothers, three sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Rev. James Moss officiating. Burial will be in Spencerville Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday and after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. I.O.O.F. Lodge will conduct memorial services at I p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
