(Transcribed by Sharon Wick)
Vance Township was a
short-lived wisp of a thing that was never officially
established. It was surveyed by Samuel Kyle between 31
December 1812 and 2 January 1813 pursuant to orders of the
County Commissioners, and then divided with the major part of
Clark County in 1817, and the balance to Ross township of this
county on 18 October 1818. |
