ABBOTT, GEORGE I. - Sergeant in Co. G., 46th O. V. I., enlisted at Newark, O., in August, 1862; was wounded at Atlanta, Georgia, July 21, 1864, and died in Hospital, at Nashville, Tennessee, Nov. 7th 1864.
ACKLEY, STARLING - enlisted Apr. 24, 1861, in Co. B., 17th O. V. I., and died at Buchanan, Va., Jly 13, 1861, aged 18 years.
ADAMS, RUFUS B. - enlisted Nov. 1, 1861, in Co. H., 76th O. V. I., and died Jan. 28, 1863.
ADAMS, JOHN Q. - was a member of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, West Virginia, July 3, 1864, and died two weeks thereafter, (July 17th,) in prison, at Harrisonburg, Va.
ALEXANDER, ROBERT - enlisted in Co. H., 3d O. V. I., Aug. 25, 1862; and afterwards in the 33d O. V. I.  He was struck by a shell while skirmishing near Atlanta, Georgia, July 20, 1864, and died in field hospital July 20th, 1864.
ALLEN, MORRIS - enlisted in August, 1862, in Co. F., of the 95th O. V. I., and was captured June 4, 1864, at Guntown, Mississippi.  He spent ten, months in Andersonville prison, and was lost while on his way home, in April, 1865, by the explosion of the steamer Sultana, on the Mississippi river.
ALWARD, ALFRED - a member of Co. B., of O. N. G's, died in the Prison Pen, at Andersonville, Sept. 1, 1864.  He was captured at North Mountain, West Virginia, July 3d, 1864.
ANDERSON, ASBURY - a member of Co. F., of the O. N. G's, was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died at Andersonville, Georgia, Oct. 7, 1864.
ANDERSON, JOHN, Lieut. - enlisted in Co. C, 76th O. V. I. in 1861; was wounded at Arkansas Post, Jan. 11, 1863, and died of said wound on the hospital boat, near Memphis, Tennessee, about five days thereafter, aged 27 years.
ANDERSON, T. J. - enlisted in Co. C, 76th O. V. I., in July, 1862, and died at "Ballard's Plantation," near Vicksburg, in March, 1863, aged about 21 years.
ARMSTRONG, DAVID - was a member of Co. E., 12th O. V. I., and died July 6, 1862, at Flat Top Mountain, W. Va.

BAILEY, ISAAC - enlisted at Hartford, Aug. 14, 1862, in Co. F., 113th O. V. I., and died in Washington City, D. C., Dec. 16, 1864.
BAKER, MOSES W. - was a member of Co. E, 12th O. V. I.  He was wounded at Bull Run, Aug. 27, 1862, and is supposed to be dead.
BARTHOLOMEW, FRANKLIN - enlisted Aug. 2, 1862, in Co. G, 4tgh O. V. I., and died of disease contracted in the army, Apr. 13, 1866.  HE was in the 21st year of his age.
BAILEY, JOSIAH - was a member of Co. E., 12th O. V. I., and was killed at Bull Run Bridge, Aug. 26, 1862.
BAYLES, GEORGE W. - was a member of Co. A., 76th O. V. I. and died at Young's Point, Louisiana, Feb. 20, 1863, aged 31 years.
BAIRD, JOSIAH - enlisted in Co. D., 22d O. Volunteers, Sept. 3, 1861, and was killed by guerrilla's while on a scout from Brownsville Station, Arkansas, July 21, 1864, aged 22 years.  His remains were brought to Pataskala for burial.
BARRICK, LORENZO - enlisted in Co. D., 113th O. V. I.; was wounded at Kenesaw Mountain, Georgia.
BARSTOW, JUDSON -  enlisted in Co. H., 31st O. V. I., and died in  hospital.
BAKER, CHARLES H. - was a member of Co. B., 142d O. V. I.  He died near Hartford, Oct. 12, 1864, of disease contracted while in the service.
BARNES, THOMAS - was a member of Co. F., of the O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died in Andersonville prison, Oct. 7, 1864.
BARSTOW, G. H. - was a member of Co. F., of the O. N. Guards.  He was taken prisoner at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died in Andersonville prison, Sept. 9, 1864.
BERGER, JOHN C. - Enlisted in Co. B., 113th O. V. I., Feb. 27, 1864.  He died in hospital, at Chattanooga, Tennessee, Oct. 22, 1864.
BENNINGTON, NELSON - enlisted Oct. 23, 1861, at Columbus, in Co. H., 6th O. S. C.; was wounded at Winchester, Va., July 24, 1864, and died from said wound Aug. 2, 1864, aged 24 years.
BEDDOES, WILLIAM - enlisted Oct. 1861, in Co. C., 76th O. V. I., and died on steamer, at Memphis, Jan. 19, 1863.
BELT, JOHN W. - was a member of Co. B., 135th regiment of the O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died in prison at Savannah, Georgia, Oct. 10, 1864, aged 23 years.
BENNER, WILLIAM A. - was a member of Co. F., of the 135th regiment, O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died in Andersonville prison, Sept. 8, 1864.
BELL, JOSEPH - was a member of Co. B., 135th regiment, O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died in Andersonville prison, Sept. 14, 1864.
BEATTY, JERRY - was a member of Co. F., of 135th O. N. Guards.  He died at Homer, Apr. 4, 1865, of disease contracted in the service.
BISHOP, HENRY - was a member of Co. H., 31st O. V. I., and was killed on picket, near Chickamauga, Sept. 22, 1863.
BIRD, MERVARD - was a member of Co. E., 12th O. V. I., and was killed July 24, 1864.
BLADE, HENRY - enlisted Aug. 18, 1862, at Newark, in Co. F., 113th O. V. I., and died at Chattanooga, Tennessee, July 12, 1864, from the effects of a wound received at Kenesaw Mountain.
BOUNDS, PERRY - enlisted in Co. F., 95th O. V. I., Aug. 13, 1862, and was killed at Richmond, Ky., Aug 30, 1862.
BOGLE, HOLMES - was a member of Co. B., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died in Andersonville prison, Aug. 16, 1864.
BRACKETT, ALONZO M. - was a member of Co. C., 76th O. V. I., and died Aug. 12, 1863, at Black River, Mississippi, aged 23 years.  He enlisted Oct. 9, 1861, at Camp Sherman, near Newark.
BRIGGS, WILLIAM - enlisted Jan. 10, 1864, in Co. D., 113th O. V. I., and died in hospital, at Columbus, Ohio.
BROOK, ALANSON S. - enlisted Aug. 7, 1862, in Co. F., 95th O. V. I., and died next year at Mound City, Illinois.
BROOKOVER, G. H. - was a member of Co. B., in 135th O. N. Guards, and was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864.  He died in Andersonville prison, Sept. 21, 1864.
BUCK, W. H. - was a member of Co. B., 30th O. V. V. I.  He was killed at Bentonville, North Carolina, Mar. 20, 1865.
BUCKINGHAM, ZADOC - was a member of Co. B., 135th O. N. Guards.  He died at Martinsburg, West Virginia.
BURCH, LEONIDAS F. - was a member of Co. H., 31st O. V. I.  He was captured at the battle of Chickamauga, Sept. 20, 1863, and remained a prisoner until his death, Aug. 17, 1864.  He was in his 24th year.
BURRELL, THEODORE - was a member of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, West Virginia, July 3, 1864, and died in Charleston, South Carolina, Sept. 30, 1864.
BUTTRICKS, GEORGE - was a member of Co. E., 12th O. V. I., and died at Charleston, West Virginia, Dec. 20, 1861.

CARTER, CHARLES C. - was a member of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards, and was captured at North Mountain W. Va., July 3, 1864; and was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864; and after eight months of confinement and sickness in Andersonville prison, he came home and died of disease, Feb. 20, 1866.
CASTIL, HENRY - was a member of Co. C., 76th O. V. I., and died at Corinth, Mississippi, Oct. 5, 1863, aged 19 years.
CASE, W. E. - enlisted June 5, 1861, in Co. B., 11th O. V. I.  He was killed at Spottsylvania, Va., May 19, 1864 , aged 21 years.
CAMP, WILLIAM - was a member of Co. B., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died at Florence, South Carolina.
CANE, HARVEY - was a member of Co. B., 135th O. N. Guards; was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died at Florence, South Carolina.
CARY, PETER - was a member of Co. E., 12th O. V. I.  He was killed at Cloyd Mountain, W. Va., June 10, 1864, aged 32 years.
CARTER, JOHN R. - was a member of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards; was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died in Andersonville prison, Sept. 14, 1864.
CHANNELL, CHESTER F. - enlisted Aug. 10, 1862, in Co. D., in the 24th Iowa Volunteer Infantry, and was killed in the battle of Cedar Creek, Va., Oct. 19, 1864.
CHANNELL, JOEL D. - was a member of Co. E., 12th O. V. I.  He was captured at Cloyd Mountain, W. Va., May 12, 1864, and died in Andersonville prison, Sept. 17, 1864.
CHANNELL, AARON N. - was the Captain of Co., E., 12th O. V. V. I.  He was killed at Cloyd Mountain, W. Va., May 9, 1864.
CHAPIN, JAMES, SR. - was a member of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died in Andersonville prison, Sept. 14, 1864.
CHAPIN, JAMES A. - was a member of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was taken prisoner at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1853, and died in Andersonville prison, Oct. 28th, 1864.
CHEEK, JOHN F. - enlisted in Co. D., 113th O. V. I., in 1862, and received a death wound in the battle of Chickamauga, Sept. 20, 1863, aged 23 years.
CLEMM, HARRISON D. - was a member of Co. E., 12th O. V. I., and was killed at Cloyd Mountain, W. Va., June 10, 1864.
CLARK, J. R. - was a member of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was taken prisoner at North Mountain, W. Va., July, 3, 1864, and died in Andersonville prison, Sept. 15, 1864.
CLARK, JOHN F. - was a member of Co. D, 113th O. V. I.  He was wounded in the battle of Chickamauga, Sept. 20, 1863, and died in hospital Oct. 19, 1863.
CLARK, GEORGE - enlisted at Hartford, Oct. 9, 1861, in Co. B., 76th O. V. I., and died at Shiloh, Tenn., May 10, 1862, aged 21 years.
CLINE, N. - was a member of Co. C., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., Juy 3, 1864, and died in prison at Florence, South Carolina, Nov. 25, 1864.
CLIFTON, JONATHAN - was a member of Co. K., 76th O. V. I., also by re-enlistment.  He died in a field hospital, Apr. 16, 1864, in the 44th year of his age.
COFFMAN, DEVER - enlisted at Newark, Aug. 22, 1862, in Co. F., 113th O. V. I., and died Mar. 2, 1863, at Franklin, Tennessee.
COLVIN, WILLIAM D. - enlisted July 26, 1862, and died after a campaign in Missouri.
COONS, GEORGE - enlisted Sept. 3, 1861, in Co. D., 22d O. V. I., and died in hospital at Cincinnati, Apr. 7, 1862, in the 19th year of his age.
COOKSEY, WILLIAM A. - was a member of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was taken prisoner at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died in prison at Florence, S. C., Nov. 8, 1864.
COOKSEY, WILLIAM B. - was a member of Co. B., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died in Andersonville Prison, Sept. 14, 1864.
CONLEY, MICHAEL - was a member of Co. E., 12th O. V. I., and was mortally wounded at the battle of Antietam, Md.  He died Sept. 29, 1862.
COOLEY, LEWIS - was a member of Co. H., 31sth O. V. I., and was killed at Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Feb. 2, 1862.
COOPER, DAVID H. - enlisted in Co. F., 95th O. V. I., Aug. 1, 1862, and died in Memphis, Tenn., in 1863.
CONRAD, CLARENCE - was a member of Co. H., 31st O. V. I.  He was killed at Winchester, Tennessee, July 30, 1863.
CORNINE, HARMAN - enlisted Feb. 9, 1864, in Co. C., 27th O. V. I., and was killed in battle near Atlanta, Georgia, July 22, 1864, aged 19 years.
CARMER, W. H. H. - was a member of Co. H., 3d O. V. I., and was killed in the battle of Perryville, Kentucky, Oct. 8, 1862.
CRISWELL, WM. - enlisted in Co., B., 76th O. V. I., Sept. 1, 1861, and died at Shiloh, Tennessee, May 17, 1862.
CRITCHET, L. B. - enlisted in Co. C., 76th O. V. I., Nov. 13, 1861, and died in hospital at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri, Oct. 31, 1863, aged 20 years and two months.

DARE, JOHN H. - was a member of Co. B., 135th O. N. Guards; was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., and died in prison at Florence, S. C.
DAVIS, THOMAS O. - enlisted in Co. F., 95th O. V. I., and died of wounds received in the battle of Richmond, Kentucky, Aug. 30k 1862.
DAVIS, JOHN S. - enlisted Sept. 3, 1861, in Co. D., 22d O. V. I., and died at Corinth, Mississippi, Oct. 8, 1862, of wounds received; aged 19 years.  He was buried at Alexandria.
DAVIS, THOMAS J. - enlisted Nov. 11, 1861, in Co. G., 76th O. V. I., and was killed at Young's Point, Louisiana, Feb. 6, 1863.
DILL, JOHN A., LIEUT. - was a member of Co. H., 76th O. V. I., and died near Shiloh, Tennessee, aged 22 years.
DILL, THOMAS M. - was a member of Co. H., 76th O. V. I.  He enlisted in Dec. 1861, and died in St. Louis, Mar. 22, 1863, aged 28 years.
DILLE, WILLIAM - was a member of Co. ., 76th O. V. I., and was killed a Ringgold, Georgia, Nov. 27, 1863, aged 24 years.
DISPENNETT, THOMAS - enlisted in Co. F., 113th O. V. I., at Newark, Aug. .22, 1862, and was killed at the battle of Chickamauga, Sep. 20, 1863.
DIVAN, SAMUEL - was a member of the 135th O. N. Guards, Co. F., and was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864.  He died at Andersonville, Oct. 1, 1864.
DODSON, DAVIS - enlisted Aug. 1, 1862, in Co. F., 95th O. V. I., and was killed in the battle of Richmond, Kentucky, Aug. 30, 1862.
DOYLE, JOHN - enlisted July 18, 1861, in Co. C., 27th O. V. I., and re-enlisted, Jan. 1, 1864.  He was killed near Atlanta, Georgia, July 2, 1864, aged 24 years.
DRAKE, JOHN T. - was a member of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards; was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died in prison at Andersonville, Georgia, Sept. 11, 1864.
DRAKE, SILAS A. - enlisted Oct. 4, 1861, in Co. A., 76th O. V. I., and was killed at Kenesaw Mountain, Georgia, June 16, 1864, aged 23 years.
DUCKWORTH, THOMAS L. - enlisted in Co. F., 95th O. V. I., and died at or near Memphis, Tennessee.
   
DUNLAP, JOHN - was a member of Co. H., 31st O. V. I., and was killed at Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Jan. 26, 1863.
DUNN, DAVID R. - enlisted at Camp Chase, on or about the 27th of August, 1862, in Co., D., 113th regiment, O. V. I., and was killed at Chickamauga, Sept. 20, 1863, aged about 19 years.
DUNN, SAMUEL H. - enlisted in Co. A., 76th O. V. I., at Newark, Feb. 18, 1864, aged 18 years, and died at Rome, Georgia.

EDDINGTON, ELEAZER - enlisted Aug. 1, 1862, in Co. F., 95th O. V. I., and died at Memphis, Tennessee.
EDDLEBUTE, THERON - enlisted Aug. 18, 1862, in Co. F., 95th O. V. I., and died at Annapolis, Maryland.
EDWARDS, ALEXANDER N. - was a member of the 2d O. H. Artillery, and was killed by a railroad collision at Elk River Bridge, Tennessee, May 20, 1864.  He was not quite twenty years old.
ELLIS, HENRY - has been reported as one of our deceased soldiers, but no particulars have been furnished.
ENSLEY, WILLIAM E. - was a member of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards; was taken prisoner at North Mountain, West Virginia, July 3, 1864, and died at Andersonville, Ga., Aug. 16, 1864.
EVANS, DAVID - was a member of Co. C., 76th O. V. I., and died of a wound received Mar. 24, 1865.  He was in his 18th year.
EVANS, THOMAS - was a member of Co. G., 76th O. V. I., and died near Pittsburg Landing, Tenn., May 5, 1862, in the twentieth year of his age.
EVANS, WESLEY J. - was a member of Co. B., 142d O. N. Guards, and died at Willett's Point, New York, July 24, 1864.  He was buried near Appleton, Ohio.
EWING, D. - was a member of Co. D., 1355h O. N. Guards; was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died in Andersonville prison, Oct. 29, 1864.

FINNEY, WALTER E. - was a member of  Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died at Millen, Georgia, Nov. 14, 1864.
FLETCHER, WM. - enlisted in Co. A., 194th O. N. Guards, Feb. 24, 1865, and died at Charlestown, W. Va., Apr. 3, 1865, aged 24 years.  He is buried at Bowling Green Cemetery.
FLINN, JEROME - enlisted Sept. 3, 1861, in Co. D., 22d O. V. I., and died in hospital at St. Louis, Missouri, Nov. 15, 1862, aged 20 years.
FLOWERS, HARVEY - enlisted Aug. 16, 1861, in Co. C., 27th O. V. I., and died in hospital at Nashville, Tennessee, Nov. 28, 1863, aged 28 years.
FOLLETT, DWIGHT - enlisted September, 1861, in Co. D., 13th Missouri V. I., and died in St. Louis, Jan. 3, 1862.
FONDERSMITH, DAVID - was a member of Co. B., 135th O. N. Guards but the time and place of his death have not been obtained.
FOREGRAVE, MICHAEL - was a member of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards; was taken prisoner at North Mountain, W. V., July 3, 1864, and died Nov. 21, 1864.
FRANCIS, JOHN L. - was the Captain of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards; was captured July 3, 1864, at North Mountain, West Virginia, and died in prison at Columbia, S. C., Dec. 6, 1864, in the 24th year of his age.
FRANKS, MARTIN - was a member of Co. H., 31sth O. V. I., and died at Nashville, Tennessee, Apr. 13, 1862.
FRENCH, IRA B. - enlisted in Co. B., 76th O. V. I.; became Captain of the Company, and was killed in the battle of Ringgold, Georgia, Nov. 27, 1863.  He was buried at Alexandria, in this county.
FROST, EZRA - was a member of o. F., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died in Florence, South Carolina, Jan. 14, 1865.

GANTS, JACOB - was a member of Co. C., 129th O. V. I., and died of disease at Cumberland Gap.
GARDNER, B. F. - was a member of Co. D., 22d O. V. I., and died after two years and three months service, on board the hospital boat, Glasgow, July 19, 1863.
GARDNER, JOHN S. - was a member of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died at Florence, South Carolina, Nov. 2, 1864.
GERMAN, HENRY A. - enlisted in Co. G., 76th O. V. I., Oct. 16, 1861, and re-enlisted Jan. 5, 1864.  He died at Nashville, Tennessee, Apr. 2, 1864. aged 28 years
GIBBONEY, SILAS A. - enlisted in Co. C., 27th O. V. I., and re-enlisted in January, 1864.  He was killed in a charge on rebel works at Ruff's Mills, Georgia, July 4th, 1864, on his twenty-first birthday
GIBSON, JOSEPH - enlisted at Newark, Jan. 25, 1862, in Co. C., 76th O. V. I., and died at Shiloh, Tennessee, April, 28, 1862.
GILLESPIE, JASPER L. - was a member of Co. D., 113th O. V. I., and died in hospital at Nashville, Tennessee, Feb. 11, 1863.
GLANCY, JOSIAH - was a member of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards; was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864. the time and place of his death have not been furnished, but it is believed he died after his return from captivity.
GOODING, JOSEPH W. - was a member of Co. D., 113th O. V. I.  He was killed at Chickamauga, Sept. 20, 1863.
GREGORY, THOMAS - was a member of Co. C., 135th O. N. Guards, and was killed at Maryland Heights, July 6, 1864.
GRAY, JOHN - enlisted Aug. 22, 1862, in 1862, in Co. F., 113th O. V. I., at Newark, and died Apr. 14, 1863, at Franklin, Tennessee.
GREEN, ALBERT G. - enlisted in Co. C., 28th Iowa V. I.  He died at Memphis, Tennessee, June 29, 1863.
GREEN, BENJAMIN L. - was a member of Co. A., 76th O. V. I.  He died at St. Louis, Feb. 28, 1863, aged 27 years.
GREEN, JAMES W. - was a member of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and after having been in five rebel prisons, he died at Florence, South Carolina, Jan. 24, 1865, in the twenty-third year of his age.
GREEN, JOHN W. - enlisted Aug. 10, 1862, in Co. F., 95th O. V. I., and died at Memphis, Tennessee, in 1863.
GREEN, JOSEPH A. - was a member of Co. A., 76th O. V. I., and died at Rome, Georgia, Sept.9, 1864, in the 21st year of his age.  The four last named were brothers, sons of H. S. Green.

HAIGHT, GEORGE E. - was a member of Co. H., 31st O. V. I.  He died at Nashville, Tennessee, Mar. 24, 1863.
HAMILTON, ARTHUR T. - enlisted in 32d O. V. I., Aug. 13, 1861.  He was promoted to Lieutenant in the 9th O. V. C., Dec. 6, 1862, and to Captain, Feb. 11, 1865.  On the day of his last promotion he was mortally wounded at Aikin, South Carolina, and died at Cheraw, South Carolina, Mar. 6, 1865, aged 22 years.
HAMILTON, HENRY - enlisted at Brownsville, Aug. 13, 1861, in Co. G., 32d O. V. I., and died at Beverly, West Virginia, Dec. 12, 1861, aged 21 years.  He was buried at home.
HAMILTON, ROBERT J. - enlisted at Brownsville, Aug. 13, 1861; was wounded at the battle of Camp Alleghany, W. Va., Dec. 13, 1861, and died in Zanesville, O., Dec. 27, 1861, aged 19 years.  He was buried at home.
HAMILTON, WILLIAM M. - was a member of Co. B., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was taken prisoner at North Mountain, W. Va., and died at Annapolis, Maryland, after he exchanged, and was buried in Brownsville cemetery.  His age was about twenty-five years.
HAND, JAMES G. - was a member of Co. H., 10th O. V. C.  He was killed near Bear Creek Station, Georgia, Sept. 15, 1864.
HARDESTY, NELSON - was a member of Co. A., 10th O. V. C.  He died at Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Apr. 26, 1863.
HARTZELL, HIRAM - enlisted Aut. 1, 1863, in Co. A., 95th O. V. I.  He was killed at the battle of Richmond, Kentucky, in Aug. 1862, during the first month of his service.  He was 18 years old.
HASLOP, GUILFORD D. - enlisted Aug. 20, 1862, in Co. D., 113th O. V. I., and was killed at Chickamauga, Sept. 20, 1863.
HATCH, OSMER - enlisted Oct. 26, 1861, and re-enlisted Jan. 4, 1864.  He was wounded while in service in Georgia, and died soon after a severe surgical operation.
HATFIELD, J. W. - enlisted at Appleton, in Co. H., 76th O. V. I., Nov. 1861, and died at Helena, Arkansas, in 1862.
HAUGHEY, FRANK A. - enlisted June 13, 1861, at Newark, in Co. H., 3d O. V. I.  He was killed while on the Col. Streight raid into Georgia, at the foot of Sandy Mountain, Apr. 30, 1863, aged 25 years.
HAYNER, B. - was a member of Co. A., 135th O. N. Guards; was captured at North Mountain, W. Va., July 3, 1864, and died in Andersonville prison, Nov. 6, 1864.
HENTHORN, RUFUS W. - enlisted in Co. G., 76th O. V. I., Oct. 22, 1861, and re-enlisted Jan. 4, 1864.  He was killed in the battle of Jonesborough, Georgia, Aug. 31, 1864.
HARMON, R. - was a member of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, West Virginia, July 3, 1864, died in Andersonville prison, Oct. 11, 1864.
HICKEY, HENRY - was a member of Co. E., 12th O. V. I., and was killed July 24, 1864.
HICKEY, WILLIAM - was a member of Co. E., 12th O. V. I., and was killed at Winchester, Virginia, July 24, 1864.
HILL, JOHN W. - enlisted Aug. 1, 1862, in Co. F., 95th O. V. I., and died at Sherman's Landing, Louisiana, in 1863.
HILL, BENJAMIN W. - was a member of Co. B., 27th O. V. I.  He died of consumption, Aug. 26, 1865, aged 27 years.
HILL, CATIN - was a member of Co. C., 76th O. V. I.  He died of a gun-shot wound, Mar. 23, 1866, aged 25 years.
HINES, WM. - enlisted in Co. C., 27th O. V. I., July 18, 1861, and re-enlisted Jan. 1, 1864.  He died at Big Shanty, Georgia, July 20, 1864, of wounds received at Kenesaw Mountain.  He was in his 21st year.

HOLMES, WESLEY - was a member of Co. F., 135th O. N. Guards.  He was captured at North Mountain, West Virginia, July 3, 1864, and died in prison, at Andersonville, Sept. 30, 1864.
HOLTSBERRY, ISAAC - enlisted Nov. 26, 1861, in Co. G., 76th O. V. I., and was killed at Vicksburg, Mississippi, June 11, 1863.

MERRILL, JOHN QUINCY - enlisted May 3, 1861, in 17th O. V. I., and re-enlisted in Co. B., 76th O. V. I.  In March, 1863, he was discharged, and died of disease contracted in the army, Oct. 16, 1863, aged 20 years.
MESSENGER, MADISON C. - was a member of Co. D., 113th O. V. I.  He received a fatal wound in the battle of Chickamauga, Sept. 20, 1863, and died on or near the battle-field.

MINTON, JOHN N. - was a member of Co. A., 11th Pennsylvania, V. C.  He was born in Hartford, Licking county, Ohio, July 1, 1840, adn died in prison at Salisbury, North Carolina, Jan. 8, 1864.
MINTON, WILLIAM J., was a member of Co. D., 113th O. V. I.  He died at War Trace, Tennessee, Sept. 2, 18t63, in the 26th year of his age.
MITCHELL, HIRAM P. - enlisted Sept. 2, 1862, in Co. G., 76th O. V. I., and died in St. Louis, Apr. 6, 1863.
MOORE, D. A. B. - went into the service as Captain of Co. D., 1st O. V. C.  He received a Major's commission, and soon thereafter was killed in the battle of Stone River, Dec. 31, 1862.  His remains were brought home for interment.

  died at Helena, Arkansas, Oct. 6, 1862, aged 21 years.
  He is buried at Homer.
WRIGHT, P. - was a member of Co. D., 113th O. V. I.
  He died at Nashville, Tennessee, Feb. 16, 1863.
