Whereas, you will be called upon to select by ballot at the next annual spring election a delegate to the coming State Constitutional Convention; and whereas said convention should, in our judgment, be composed of men of undoubted moral integrity, sound judgment and experience, and as the Hon. D. D. T. Hard possesses all these requisites, and having the advantage of an experience in the duties and prerogatives of a member of such convention, and knowing that he will accept the office if elected, we recommend him for that position and would urge his election.
