Dated May 13, 1846
On Saturday evening, the 13th ult., a Miss Beard, leaving in Decatur,
Brown County, Ohio, was instantly killed by lightning. She was standing
near the fire-place when the lightning struck.

GEORGE ALLEN LOVE DIED THIS MORNING
At 8:45 o'clock this morning George Allen Love
passed to his reward after an illness of several weeks at the home of his son,
S. R. Love. The deceased has resided in this city for several years
and was well known and liked by a large circle of acquaintances. He was
born near Georgetown, Ohio, Aug. 26, 1844. His wife died last July.
Mr. Love is survived by his son, Sam Love, and two brothers and
one sister.
The funeral will be conducted at the family residence
tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock, Elder W. C. Wright officiating. The
interment will follow at Oaklawn cemetery. |
