GENERAL DEATHS MARRIAGES COURT XXXXXX

Dated: Dec. 3, 1898
Died on the Train Young Lady from Ohio Died Last Evening on a Midland Train near Divide.
    
The body of Miss Rose Freeman, a young lady about 21 years of age, was brought to the city last night on the Midland train arriving shortly after 10 o'clock and was taken to Fairley's undertaking establishment.  The young lady had died on the train while near Divide.  She was returning home at Malvern, Ohio
     Mrs. Freedman had spent several weeks at Grand Junction in the hope of an improvement in health but had received little benefit and was returning to her home.  She was accompanied by her brother _. P. Freeman.  They had some friends in this city.  The body has been embalmed and will be taken east this afternoon on the Rock Island.
