Owing to an accident to
manuscript, a group of pioneer families, which should have been
placed between pages 368 and 446, will be found after the year
1840, and beginning at page 626.
No part of the Public Square of the
City of Cleveland has ever belonged to a private party, nor has
any portion of it been offered for sale. All statements to
the contrary are based merely on tradition.
