AUGUST
FREDERICK HERBSLEB is one of the
prominent Cincinnati lawyers, engaged in the fields of
patent and corporation practice, and a native of Cincinnati
where he has followed his profession for nearly thirty
years. Mr. Herbsleb was born May 22, 1866, at
Cincinnati, and after graduating from the graded and high
schools, entered Cincinnati University, where he completed
the prescribed course in 1886. Having decided upon a
career in the domain of law, he enrolled as a student at the
Cincinnati Law School, where he was a member of the
graduating class of 1889, at that time receiving his
cherished degree of Bachelor of Laws. Admitted to the
bar shortly after his graduation, Mr. Herbsleg began
his career with the firm of Parkinson & Parkinson.
Three years later, however, he severed his connection with
this concern and since that time has been engaged in patent
and corporation practice. Mr. Herbsleb's
reputation is high and substantial and his practice is
virtually confined to patents, trade marks and copyrights,
and corporation matters, carrying him into the Ohio State
Courts, the United States Courts, Courts of Appeals,
and Supreme Court. He is likewise counsel for several
large corporations of Cincinnati and elsewhere. In
addition to holding membership in the county, state and
federal bar associations, Mr. Herbsleb maintains a
number of important social and civic connections.
