The State of Ohio, Jefferson Co., ss:
Personally appeared before me A. C. Davis who after being duly sworn deposes and says that Martha Carman is an unmarried female, of the age of eighteen eyars, and that she is a resident of Jefferson county, Ohio.  That he is an unmarried man of the age of twenty-one years, that they are no nearer of kin than second cousins, and that there is no legal impediment to their marriage to the best of his knowledge and belief.
