BELOW are NOTES on some of the burials
Ralston, Henry b. 1835 md. 1st 1853, Eliza McNary and had 2 children.  He md. 2nd Mary Vorhees and had 2 children.
Barkhurst, William and wife Nancy early pioneers to this township from Maryland and was a soldier of War of 1812.  His father was with Gen. Washington at Valley Forge.  Jacob, son of Wm. was born here in 1808, md. 1st Mary Moore, 1830, 2nd Jane Raymond, 1840.  Son of Isaac born 1806, md. 1st Naomi Moore, 2nd Isabel Muncy, 3rd Hannah Marshall.  He had 12 children by second wife.
Franicis, Walter settled in nearby York area in 1799 with wife Martha.  William & Elizabeth (Sharp) Francis said to be buried on the old Francis farm came to America from Ireland in 1785, and in this township 1798.  William died 1818 aged 88 years and Elizabeth died in 1812.

NOTES:

Epitaph for Harriet I. McNary: "Farewell to thee, Harriet, We ne'er shall see thee more; Thou art free from all thy trouble, From which you suffered sore.  Her weary march of life is o'er She's gone to rest on that beautiful shore."

Robert Hervey:  In Memory of Robert Hervey of Washington Co., Penn. who died and lived at Wm. Hervey's in this county.  Died April 14, 1840, age 64 yrs. 2 mos.
