EXPLANATORY REFERENCE
On account of time and
space we have been compelled to use a series of
abbreviations, which we trust will be readily understood
by the intelligent reader. The following Key to
the more difficult ones however, will be found of
service.
The Nos. in the right hand column of the Index refer to
the Nos. of the several Districts.
The 1, 2, 3 and 4 W is used for Piqua 1st, 2nd, 3rd and
4th Wards
The Tipp. in Monroe is used for Tippecanoe City
Special.
The B. and C. in Newberry is used for Bradford and
Covington Specials.
The C. H. in Elizabeth is used for Knoop's Children's
Home.
The P. H. in Newton is used for Pleasant Hill Special.
The W. M. in Union is used for West Milton Special.
The F. in Brown is used for Fletcher Special.
