wagons, the wheel horses driven by lines and the leader
driven by a boy. Came throu Pa. to Marietta where they
remained for a while in the stockade. Thence before in
1799. To Cincinnati in 1800 by water, thence to
Washington Twp., Montgomery Co.

Washington at Valley Forge 1777 and 1778 and had face and
ears so badly frozen fleshy parts dropped off. Later a
bullet took the end of his nose.

During War of 1812 an Englishman hurrahed for King George,
Kelly struck at him, missed him and broke a walnut panel in
a door.
