PROBATE NOTICE.
NOTICE is hereby given that the final settlement accounts of the Administrators, Executors and Guardian of the estates of the following persons, have been filed in the Probate court of Monroe County, Ohio, for settlement:
Christian Simons Adm'r of George Altop dec'd.
John Griffith Adm'r of Philip Lawrence, Sr. dc'd.
Thos. Cummings Guardian of David Thornbury.
Wm. Pickens
Adm'r of Edward Maginis, dec'd.
Margaret W. Morgan, Ex's of Forbes A. Morgan, deceased.
     The above accounts will be for hearing on the 22d day of August, next.

SALE OF REAL ESTATE. - By virtue of an order to me directed by the Probate Court within and or the County of Monroe, and State of Ohio, it will offer for sale on
     Saturday the 20th day of August, 1853, between the hours of 10 o'clock a.m., and 4 o'clock p. m., of said day, the following described Real Estate, situate in the County of Monroe, and State of Ohio, to wit:  The south part of the north east quarter of section 16, township 3, and range 4; bounded on on the west side by the west line of said quarter, and on the south by the south line of said quarter, and on the east by the lands of Jane Foggin, jr., and on the north by the leads of Jane Healy, (the big road as it formerly run being the line between the lands of said Jane Healy and said tract,) supposed to contain one hundred and fifteen acres.  The land is well adapted to farming or grading, well watered, and in a good state of cultivation.
     TERMS OF SALE:  One-half in hand, one-half of the resides in one year, and the balance in two years, the deferred payments to be secured to this satisfaction of the undersigned.

ARCHIBALD ROSS'S ESTATE - The undersigned has been appointed and qualified as Administratrix of the estate of Archibald Ross, late of Monroe county, deceased.  Those indebted to the estate will please make immediate payments; and those having claims against, said estate will present them duly authenticated.

SHERIFF'S SALE - By virtue of a writ of Venditioni Exponas issued from the Court of Common Pleas of Washington County, Ohio, and to me directed, I will offer for sale at public outcry at the door of the court house in the town of Woodsfield, Monroe county, on
     Saturday, the 20th day of August, 1853. between the hours of 10 o'clock a.m., and 4 o'clock p.m., of said day, the following described real estate, lying and being in said county of Monroe, to-wit:
     The southwest quarter of the south west quarter of section NO. fifteen, in township No. five, of range No. six; and also the north west quarter of the south west quarter of said section, in said township and range.  Appraised at $440.
     Taken in execution and levied upon as the property of Alexander Ferral, Jeremiah Smith, et al. at the suit of the state of Ohio for the use of the Fund Commissioner of Monroe county.

SHERIFF'S SALE - By virtue of a writ of Venditioni Exponas issued from the Court of Common Pleas of  Belmont county, Ohio, and to me directed, I will offer for sale, at public outcry, at the front door of the court house in the town of Woodsfield, in said county, on
     Saturday, the 6th day of August, 1853,  between the hours of 10 o'clock a.m. and 1 o'clock p.m., of said day, the following described lands and tenements, lying and being in said county, to wit:
     The west half of the north east quarter of section NO. 14, township No. 3, of range No. 5, containing __ acres more or less; also the south east quarter of the north east quarter of same section, township and range, containing 40 acres more or less; also the south east quarter of the north west quarter of same section, township and range, containing 29 acres more or less.  Appraised at $1_53.
     Taken in execution and levied  on as the property of Israel Barnes at the suit of Stephen Wilson vs. Israel Barnes and Allen Barnes.

STATE OF OHIO, MONROE COUNTY
COURT OF COMMON PLEAS.
Benjamin Davenport against Jesse Eagon, Mary Donahoo, Robert Morgan, Nancy Wysecower, Eli Cowl, Thomas Donahoo, James Donahoo, Willilam Donahoo, John Donahoo, Hannah Donahoo, John Wolford and Margaret his wife.
     THE said defendants are hereby notified, that a petition in a civil action has been filed against them in said court, setting forth that said Davenport formerly purchased of one John Sovil the southwest quarter of the north east quarter of section ten, township seven of range seven, in said county, being the same land theretofore purchased of Michael T. Donahoo, by the said John Sovil.  That said Michael T. Donahoo died without making a deed to said Sovil, that James Eagon, executor of said Michael T. Donahoe, filed his petition to complete said real contract by making a deed to said John Sovil.  But mistake and error occurred in the description of said and, and the same mistake and error were continued in the conveyance from John Sovil and wife to said Davenport.  The prayer of the petitioner is to have the mistake corrected, and the title of said complainant confirmed.  Said defendants are required to answer the petition on or efore the 30th day of September, next, if they see fit to contest plaintiff's claim.

DAVID TIPTON'S ESTATE. - Notice is hereby given, that the undersigned have received letters of administration from the Probate court of Monroe county, Ohio, upon the estate of David Tipton, late of said county, deceased.

PROBATE COURT.
    
The following business has been transacted since the close of our report last week:
    
June 8 - The last Will and Testament of Jeremiah Willison, deceased, was admitted to Probate, dated November 16, 1872.
     June 10. - A. C. Armstrong was appointed Administrator of the estate of John Powell, deceased.  Bond $3,500.  Lewis Butt, C. Diehl, Sr., and Jas. W. Watson were appointed appraisers of the real and personal estate.
     John U. Steier was appointed Guardian of the heirs of Jacob Lang, deceased.  Bond $1,500.
     June 13 - John Jeffers, Adm'r of H. H. Taylor, deceased, filed his second partial account, the hearing of which was continued to July 30.
     The last Will and Tesament of Jermiah Willison, deceased, dated June 5, 1874, was admitted to Probate.
