OUT in Ohio when Mr. Blaine visited the Morrow county Fair a procession of young lads came in from one of the out townships bearing a banner on which was inscribed something like this:  "We are Blaine kids; we can't vote, but our dads can, and the woods are full of 'em."

Aleta Louise Wagoner
June 14, 1942 - Sept. 24, 2019
Aleta was born in Morrow County, Ohio to the late Ben and Mary E. Hack Van Meter.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Bateman; and two brothers, Fred Van Meter and Ben Van Meter.
     Ms. Wagoner was a Certified Nursing Assistant with Inn Conn where she retired from.  She was a kind, caring and loved crocheting, gardening.  She was a true nature lover and especially love spending time outside.
     Survivors include three sons, Tom Bateman and wife Carrie and Lynn Bateman and wife Lesa, all of Conneaut, Ohio and David Bateman; two daughters, Adelia Foy and husband Frank of Lenoir, NC and Aleta Inman and husband Terry of Kingsville; four sister Mary Risely and husband Art of Kingsville, Peggy Belew of Indiana, Yvonne Merkins of Albion, Pa and Thelma Pirello of West Springfield, PA; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
