M. Foote) and her surviving children, at his funeral in 1901.

Funeral cabinet card of David William Foote, he was born in Brown
Township, Paulding County on 26 May 1871; died in Toledo, OH on 25
Sep 1901 and was buried in Sherman Cemetery in Paulding County, OH.
He is Great-Great Grandfather of George Humphrey Emfield.
David was only 9 years old when his sister
Georgiana died. Apparently there was a heart ailment that ran in
the family and they were the young victims of it. In today’s world,
they would have most likely been able to receive treatment and
survived to old age with today’s medical advances, but as we both
know having conducted research for years, the mortality rates were
very high for that period, so we work to keep their memories alive,
although they lived a short time here upon this earth |
