WESLEY ILIFF, post office, McLuney; born in Pennsylvania in 1814.  Settled here in a very early day.  Son of John and Anna (HenryY) Iliff.  Mr. Iliff has been twice married, first in 1836 to Miss Harriet Teal, who died in 1878.  This union was blessed with seven children, viz.:  Sarah A., deceased; Isaac, deceased, Elizaeth, deceased, John F., Thomas C., Acy T., James W.  Thomas C., after graduating at Athens University, entered the ministry of the Methodist Episcopal Church, where he has risen to quite an eminent position.  Mr. Iliff was married again in 1878 to Miss Nettie Shetron.
