HALLER / GRINDLE CEMETERY STONES
on Old Dunlap Farm

The picture below depicts the pasture land of the
old Dunlap Farm
I was taken by the owner of the farm by four-wheeler across this
field and down a hill and dropped off at the foot of the hill where
the trees are on the right side of this picture.
In the clump of trees rests several members of the Grindle and
Haller families.
The next picture is the view of the relationship between the
pastures and the house looking from the
gate above here.
The next picture depicts what I found in this graveyard.
It is totally uncared for. Cows have been wondering all over
the graves and there is evidence of it from the cow droppings among
the stones. Stones include Sarah Haller, Sybilla Haller,
William Haller, Christiana Grindle, Charles C. Grindle, Sibila
Grindle, Sarah Grindle & Sophia C. Grindle. There are 2 foot
stones at the base of Sarah and William Haller's graves with the
initials S.H. and W. H.
There is evidence of at least one more stone but it is so badly
broken that it is not readable except for a small piece.
