50 Burials Made Here Last Year

Sextons Report Number of Interments Made in Two Local
Cemeteries in 1930.

NON-GENARIAN, EIGHT OCTOGENARIANS BURIED

Fifty persons
were buried int he two Lewisburg Cemeteries in 1930, according
to reports of J. T. Crider, sexton at Roselawn Cemetery, and
John Floyd, Lower Lewisburg cemetery sexton. Burials in
Roselawn numbered less than for several years. There were
40, as compared to 47 in 1929, 52 in 1928, 48 in 1927, 50 in
1926, 47 in 1925, 50 in 1924, 60 in 1923, 61 in 1922, and 47 in
1921. There were 10 burials to Lower Lewisburg cemetery as
compared to three in 1929 and tw in 1925.
There were no burials in Roselawn during January.
