..Short's Landing
at
Lake Loramie

The following is a picture of Short's Landing at Lake Loramie.
It was owned by George and Emma Viola Chambers Robbins
Short.
Emma was the daughter of Jerry Chambers, who in the
early 1890 till around when the Lake was taken over by
the government. Jerry ran a guide and fishing camp
here. Many Robbins, Chambers , Browns Shorts and other
relatives were born near here and spent many happy days
fishing and growing up in this area.
