SKETCH
of
MT. EPHRIAM M. E. CEMETERY
Aurelius Township
This cemetery is just off SR 145, north of Lower
Salem, near the Noble County border. The first church services
were held in the homes. In 1846 a church was built on land
owned by Ephriam Gould. Ephriam gave the
land, thus the name. A new church was built in 1873.
Rev. Watkins Denton an early minister.
