   This picture is taken from the "Sherman Orchard" on the West side of the Ashland hill.  The picture covers a territory of about five miles square.  The smoke of he Humphreys Mfg. Company can be seen at the extreme left.  To the right are the "Flats" filled with factories and shops, and they extend north to the Lumbermans Heights, and west to the Empire Steel plants.
