JOHN QUINN was
born in Belfast, Ireland, Dec. 17, 1850. Came to America in
April, 1870, served an apprenticeship as machinist and engineer in
the Cleveland rolling mills; came to Martin's Ferry in 1872, and
since that time has worked in various places. He began in the
employ of the Benwood Iron Works, May, 1877, and is engineer of the
furnace. Married a Miss Carmichael, December, 1874.
