John Best, the oldest Mason in America, died in Guernsey county, Ohio on Tuesday.  He was born in county Tyrone, Ireland in May, 1780, was made a Mason in 1808?, and emigrated to this country in 1811.

OLD AGE - We see by the last Western Recorder, published in Zanesville, that a Mr. Andrew Whittier, died near Cambridge, Ohio, July 25th, aged 125 years, less one month.  The Rev. W. Marshall, in communicating the fact, stated one year ago last harvest, he reaped 8 sheaves of wheat and shocked them.

A CARRIAGE-MAKER named Busby, from Wheeling, cut his throat, at Cambridge, Ohio, on Friday night.  He died next morning, from loss of blood.

Malcom Cameron, an aged and respected citizen of this place, died of pneumonia, and was buried Friday of last week in the Cambridge Cemetery.
