SAMUEL UNUM was born in 1837, and
is a native of this county, and has been a farmer all
his life. He has served two terms as township
trustee. In 1865 he married Lydia Swebert, who
was born in Preble County in 1841. They have
two children, named Frank P. and Oda J.
