COMPANY E.
The Morgan County men belonging to this company were
recruited by Lieutenant Zedekiah Wiseman, of
Malta, and attached to the Veteran Reserve Corps.
They went into camp at Winchester, Va., where they did
garrison duty from about Mar. 20, 1865, until they were
mustered out Aug. 4, 1865. The company were
mustered into the service Mar. 11, 1865. Following
