STARK COUNTY.
- An action for rape was brought in the court of Common Pleas by Amanda Edgar against Isaiah Weygandt last week.  The trial had proceeded but a short time when it appeared, by the testimony of the prosecuting witness, that if any cause of action existed, she was at least equally guilty with the defendant.  Of course the Prosecuting Attorney nolled the case at once.
- One night, some days since, a girl named Emma Detterlin was taken to a ball in Massillon, stupefied with drugs and shamefully outraged.  Suspicion rested upon certain parties, but the Grand Jury found no evidence sustaining it.
