Page 310 The State of Ohio
Ashtabula County ss} Be it remembered that on the __ day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and thirty four at a ___ Abraham Shear produced credentials showing to the said Court that he is a regular ordained Minister of the Gospel of Free Will Baptist denomination and that as such he is officiating in said County - Whereupon it was ordered by said Court that said Abraham Shear be licenced to solemnize Marriages in said State agreeably to the Statute in such cases made and provided -      Attest Wm. Hendry, Dep. Clerk.
Page 311 On the first day of February AD 1832 the Licence of Rev. William Correll, a regular Ordained Minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church produced his Licence at this Office authorizing him as such Minister being Granted by the Court of Common Please of the County of Trumbull and bearing date December 26th AD. 1831 -        Attest Sam Hendry, Clk
At the May Term AD 1831 - the Rev. D. M. L. Rollin of the Free Will Baptist Church was Licenced to solemnize marriages - Also - at the same term of such Court Rev. John C. Ayers of the Methodist Episcopal Church was Licenced to Solemnize marriages - and at the October Term AD 1831 of the Court of Common Pleas of the County of Ashtabula Rev. Horace Morse of the Free Will Baptist Denomination was Licenced to Solemnize marriages and at the term last aforesaid Rev. Elder Silas Barnes of the Baptist denomination was Licenced to Solemnize Marriages within the State of Ohio agreeably to the laws of said state. -             Attest Saml. Hendry, Clk.

Rev. Asa Jacobs of Salem.  Authorized to Solemnize Marriages Apl. Term 1829 (See _____ D. (page 227)

Page 312 On the 22d day of Dec. 1831 Rev. Daniel Ritchey presented at this Office a Licence executed by George Partons, Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of the County of Trumbull in the State under the seal of said court bearing date of the 24th day of October AD 1831 authorizing said  ____ing the said Daniel Ritchey by the name of Daniel Ritchie to Solemnize Marriages within the State of Ohio agreeably to the laws of said state -          Attest Saml. On the 7th day of Jany 1832 Rev. Rouse B. Gardner presented at this Office his Licence executed by the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of the County of Trumbull under the seal of said Court bearing date on the 14th day of November AD 1831 -          Attest Saml. Hendry, Clerk

Be it Remembered that at the Nov. Term AD 1829 Rev. Edmund Richmond, Baptist Elder was Licenced to Solemnize Marriages - Also that at the said Nov. Term. 1829 Rev. Henry T. Kelly, Minister of the Presbyterian denomination was Licenced to Solemnize Marriages and also that at the said Nov. Term. 1829 Rev. Ward Childs Minister of the Presbyterian denomination was Licenced to Solemnize Marriages -           Attest Saml. Hendry, Clk.

Page 313 Rev. Caleb Brown - Be it Remembered that on the 26th day of September AD 1831, Rev. Caleb Brown produced at this Office a Licence issued from the Office of the Clerk of the Court of Common Please of the County of Geauga authorizing the said Caleb Brown to Solemnize Marriages with the State of Ohio in conformity with the Statute Laws of the said State so long as he continues to Officiate as a Minister in the Methodist E. Church in said county.  Said Licence bearing date March 3d 1831. -          Attest Sam. Hendry, Clerk

Rev. Isaac McIlvaine - Be it Remembered that on the fifth day of November AD 1831 the Reverend Isaac McIlvaine produced at this office a Licence issued from the Office of the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of the County of Trumbul in the State of Ohio bearing date on the first day of November AD 1831 authorizing the said Isaac McIlvaine a Minister of the Gospel to Solemnize Marriages within said State so long as he remains a Minister as aforesaid. - Attest Saml. Hendry, Clerk.

On the 15th day of December AD 1831 Rev. Alvan Coe presented at the Office of the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of the County of Ashtabula in the State of Ohio; his Licence executed under the seal of the Court of Common Pleas of the County of Ashtabula in the State of Ohio signed by Ichabod Marshall, Clerk C.P. of the Court of Common Pleas in said Count of Huron bearing date October Term 1817 Authorizing the said Calvin Coe  as a Minister of the Gospel to Solemnize Marriages within the State of Ohio agreeably to the Statutes Law of said State. -      Attest Sam. Page 314 Rev. Henry Cowles - Be it Remembered that at the April Term AD of the Court of Common Pleas of the County of Ashtabula in the State of Ohio AD 1829 The Rev. Henry Cowles presented credentials showing that he is a regularly ordained Minister of the Gospel of the Presbyterian denomination.  Whereupon it is ordered that Licence be granted to the said Henry Cowles authorizing him to Solemnize Marriages within said State during the time he shall continue to Officiate within said State as such Minister of the Gospel -      Attest Saml. Hendry, Clk.

Rev. John W. Hill - Be it Remembered that on this 11th day of November AD 1830 the Rev. John W. Hill presented at this office a licence from the Court of Common Pleas of the County of Portage in the State of Ohio, authorizing the said John W. Hill, A Minister of the Gospel to Solemnize Marriages within the said State agreeably to the Statute Laws in such cases made and provided bearing date Feby 28th AD 1829 - and signed by S. Day Clerk of said Court -        Attest Saml. Hendry, Clerk.

Rev. John Barrett - Be it Remembered that on this 22d day of December AD 1830 the Reverend John Barrett presented at this Office a licence from the Court of Common Pleas of the County of Trumbull in said State bearing date Nov. 13th AD 1827 authorizing and empowering the aid John Barrett to Solemnize Marriages with said State agreeably to the laws of said state - Attest Saml. Hendry, Clerk.
