Page 320 The State of Ohio
Ashtabula County ss.}  Be it Rembered that on the fifth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six the Reverend Jacob Bailey having presented credentials showing to the Court of Com. Pleas of said county that he is a regular ordained Minister of the Gospel of the Baptist denomination and is resident in said county.  The said Court ordered that Licence be Granted to the said Jacob Bailey authorizing him to Solemnize Marriages in said State agreeably to the Statute in such case made and provided - Attest  Saml. Hendry, Clerk

Ashtabula County ss}  Be it remembered that on the seventeenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six at a term of the Court of Common Pleas of said County, the Rev. Perry Pratt produced credentials showing to said Court that he is a regular Ordained Minister of the Gospel of the Presbiterian denomination and that he is a resident of said County - Thereupon it was Ordered by said Court that the said Perry Pratt be licensed to Solemnize Marriages in said State agreeably to the Statute in such case made and provided - Attest Saml. Hendry, Clerk.

Ashtabula County ss}   Clerk's Office Jefferson May 3th AD 1827 - This day Corbly Martin Woodward produced a Licence from the Court of Common Pleas of Miami County authorizing him as a Minister of the Gospel to Solemnize Marriages in this State - Agreeably to the Statute in such case made and provided - Attest Saml. Hendry, Clerk.

Page 321 William C. Henderson - Be it remembered that at a term of the Court of Common Pleas of the County of Ashtabula began and held at Jefferson in said County on the 16th day of April AD 1827 Wm. C. Henderson having produced credentials showing that he is a regularly ordained Minister of the Gospel of the Methodist Episcopal Church was duly licenced by said Court to Solemnize Marriages within this State agreeably to Law.

Nathaniel Reeder - Be it remembered that at a term of the Court of Common Pleas of the County of Ashtabula begun and held at Jefferson in said County on the 16th day of April AD 1827 Nathaniel Reeder having produced credentials showing that he is a regularly ordained Minister of the Gospel of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was duly Licenced by said Court to Solemnize Marriages within this State agreeably to Law.

Jacob Jynks - Be it remembered that at a term of the Court of Common Pleas begun and held at Jefferson and for the County of Ashtabula on the 29th day of October AD 1827 Jacob Jynks having produced credentials showing that he is a regular ordained Minister of the Gospel of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was duly Licenced by said Court to Solemnize Marriages within this State agreeably to Law.

Jonathan Winchester - Be it remembered that on the 6th day of Feb., AD 1828 the Rev. Jonathan Winchester  produced a Licence signed by the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of the County of Geauga bearing date Oct. 19th AD 1825 authorizing the sd J. Winchester to Solemnize Marriages with this State - Jefferson Feby 6, 1828 - Attest Saml. Hendry, Clerk

Page 322 Harvey Coe - On the 7th day of May AD 1828 the Rev. Harvey Coe presented at this Office a Licence duly executed by George Parsons, Clerk of the Com. Pleas of Trumbull County bearing date Nov. 2d AD 1814 Whereby said Harvey Coe is authorized to Solemnize Marriages in the State of Ohio agreeably to the provisions of the Act entitled "An Act Regulating Marriages" - Attest:  Saml. Hendry, Clk. C.P.

Rev. John Scott On the 20th day of September AD 1828 the Revd. John Scott presented at this Office a Licence duly executed by Jno. Myers, Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of the County of Stark in the State of Ohio on the 18th day of September AD 1827 Authorizing the said John Scott to Solemnize Marriages within this State agreeable to the provisions of the Act Entitled "An regulating marriages" - Attest Saml. Hendry, Clerk

Rev. John Crawford - On the 17th Oct. 1828 the Rev. John Crawford presented at the Office of the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of Ashtabula (Ohio) a Licence duly executed by A. H. Coffer, Clerk of the Court of Common Please of Licking County in said State bearing date Oct. 5, 1824.  Authorizing the said John Crawford  to Solemnize Marriages within the State agreeably to the provisions of the Act entitled, "An Act regulating Marriages" - Attest Saml. Hendry, Clerk.
