Ashtabula County, ss,
This day came BENJAMIN F. WHETMORE and made application for
Marriage License for ALEXANDER GIBBS of JEFFERSON and
ELIZABETH BAILEY of said Count of Ashtabula, and made solemn oath
that the said Alexander of the age of 21 yrs; and that the said
Elizabeth of the age of 18 yrs; that they are both single and not
nearer of kin than 1st cousins, and that he knows of no legal
impediment to their being joined in Marriage.
Sworn and subscribed to before me, at Jefferson, in said County the 28
day of June 1865.

Arabella E. is of the age of 18 years; that they are both single, and
not nearer of kin that 1st cousins and that he knows of no legal
impediment to their being joined in Marriage.
