Amanda Twp. -
JOHN KEETH
was born in VanWert County, Aug. 27, 1844. Mary
Electa Partello was born at New Haven, Huron County,
Apr. 23, 1852. They were married Dec. 23, 1869.
They have two children - Albert Guy, born in
Lima, Dec. 29, 1870 and Lillie, born in this
county, June 10, 1872. Mr. Keeth's father,
Johnzey Keeth, came from Maryland to VanWert
County, Ohio, in 1832. His mother, Priscilla
(Arnold) Keeth, came to VanWert County from Fayette
County, in 1835. They came to Allen County in
1854. Their children are, Rachel E. John,
Samuel, Anderson, Jacob A., Mary, Albert (deceased),
Emma (deceased), and Francis M. Mrs.
Keeth's parents, Washington A. Partello and
Sophia (stewart) Partello, came to this county from
Huron County, in 1859. Their children are
Sarah, Mary E., Clara, and Frank. Mr. Keeth
has been justice of the peace.

German Twp. -
ABRAHAM KESSLER
was born in Fairfield County in 1809, and came to this
county in 1844. His parents are Peter and
Elizabeth Kessler; his brothers and sisters are
Samuel, Barbara, Amelia, Anna and Peter. His
wife is a daughter of Cyrus and Catherine Grites,
who came from Fairfield County in 1843. Mrs.
Kessler was born in Fairfield County in 1830.
Mrs. Kessler's children are: Elizabeth,
George, Peter, Elias, Lily, Charles and David.
Mr. Kessler has held the office of Township Trustee.

Ottawa Twp. -
FRANK A. M. KREPS
married Sarah T., daughter of Adam Weaver.
Their children are Frank, Walter, and
Carrie Virginia. Mr. Kreps was born in
Franklin County, Penn., 13th March, 1839, and came to
Allen County, in 1874. His wife was born in
Allegheny, Penn., 8th November, 1839, and is sister to
Jackson, Mary, and Caroline. Mr. Kreps
is a son of Jacob F. and Elizabeth Kreps, and a
brother of Catharine, George, John, Adam, David,
and William.

Marion Twp. -
JACOB LUDWIG
is a son of Jacob and Elizabeth (Finck) Ludwig,
who had five children - Sophia, William, Jacob, ___
and George W. Jacob was born in 1818, in
Pickaway County, where his father died, in 1824, and
where his mother still resides. He married
Louisa Delong, who was born 1823, in Schuylkill
County, Pennsylvania. they have six children -
Isaac, John D., Charles C., Mary J., Obed A. and
Jacob L. Mrs. Ludwig is a daughter of
Andrew Delong and Catherine (Laudie) Delong, whose
children are, John, Rebecca, Isaac, Elizabeth, Susan,
Catharine, Louisa, Caroline, Sarah, Emily and
Andrew.

Marion Twp. -
JOHN LUDWIG
and his wife, Elizabeth M., are both natives of
this county. He was born Oct. 14, 1849, - she
Sept. 30, 1855. His parents are Jacob and
Louisa Ludwig. She is a daughter of
Alexander T. and Elizabeth Irick.
