conspicuous part in battle of Monmouth, N. J.; was guard at
the execution of the British spy, Major Andrew; died in
Coitsville twp. Mahoning co. Dec. 25, 1851; buried there;
was grandfather of the wife of Wm. W. Cover of Haselton. |
