CLARENCE G. ISAAC
was
born in Huron township on Oct. 19, 1901. His parents
were Henry J. Isaac and his mother
Alice Broadley Isaac.
After he left school he was active in Corn Club work for
three years, receiving two trips to Washington and New York
City. He attended the district schools of Erie County
and was graduated from Sandusky High School in 1920.
After graduation he was employed by the Breckenridge Company
as salesman, which position he still holds.
He is a member of the Rye Beach Community Club and a member
of the Presbyterian Church. On
the 4th day of August, 1824, at Huron, Ohio he was married
to Ellen May Post, one of the four daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Post, the other three
being named: Edna, Kathryn and
Thelma. Like him, Mrs. Isaac was born in
Huron on Aug. 1, 1901. She attended the district
school at Rye Beach, and graduated from Huron High School in
1920, and Erie County Normal School in 1821. She was
active in food club work, receiving a prize trip to
Washington and New York City and another to Columbus.
She taught school in Huron Township for one year, and in
Perkins Township for three years. She is a member of
the Huron Grange and the Presbyterian Church. Her
mother's name was Minnie L. Jarrett Post,
who was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Jarrett.
Her father was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Post,
both of them being residents of Erie County through their
entire life. Mr. Post was a farmer by
occupation. All of the three
sisters of Miss Post attended the district
school of Rye Beach. Edna graduated
from Huron High School in 1921. Since that time she
has worked at the Wilcox Store at Sandusky. Kathryn
was graduated from Sandusky High School in 1924 and is now
in training as nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital,
Thelma is a junior at Huron High School.
