Fred A. Fetter

Fred A. Fetter, 58, Allen-co farmer, died at 6:20 a. in. Friday in Memorial hospital after an illness of one week. Fetter, a life-time resident of Bath-tp, was a member of the Maccabees lodge and Calvary Reformed church. He is survived by his wife, Nelle; four sons: Brice, at home; Cloyd and Richard, both of Defiance : Harry, of Cleveland ; one daughter. Mrs. Thelma Taylor, of Lima , and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday at the Union Chapel church with Rev. Harlan J. Miller, pastor of the Calvary church, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be removed Friday afternoon from the Davis- Miller and Son funeral home to the residence in Route 2.

Bertha Franklin

Bertha Franklin, 55, a native of Allen-co and wife of Gary E.Franklin, died at her residence, 611 Ewing-av, at 5 30 a. m. Thursday from complications following an 18 month  illness. Mrs. Franklin was a member of the St. Luke's church, of the Auxiliary of United Spanish War Veterans and was past president of St. Luke's Guild. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Eugene,  of Dayton ; Edgar and Harold, both at home; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Cahill and Mrs. Albert Benedict, both of Lima . Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Saturday at the St. Luke's church, with Rev. John Beiger officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery. The body will be removed from the Davis-Miller and Son funeral home to the residence Friday morning.
