Frances Weise
Edward Frances Weise, 65, of Columbus, owner of an advertising
medicine show, died of a heart ailment in Malinta, north of.
Ottawa
, where the outfit was showing. He is survived by his wife,
Ethel; one daughter, Dorothea, at home; a son. Edward, of
Lakeview; and one brother, Charles, of
Lebanon
,
Pa.
Weise was a
member of the Sadaline Lodge, Knights; Templar, Scottish
Rile and Shrine, all
at
Grand Rapids
.
Mich.
, and the Chapter and
Council Blue Lodge at Rockport, N. Y. The body will
remain at the Davis, Miller and Son funeral home where funeral
services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Burial will be in Memorial
Park cemetery.

Maude Annis West
Mrs. Maude
Annis West, 67, widow of Richard West, died in Memorial
hospital at midnight Sunday
following an
illness of two weeks. She resided at 678 N. West-st, and
was. a native of Hardin-co. She was born Mar.18, 1883, in
Logan-co.

. Mrs. West had spent the past
50 yean in
Lima
. Five children by a previous marriage survive. They are Mrs.
Clara Brown, 1301 St. Johns-av; Mrs. Joanna Blue, 737 Atlantic-av;
Mrs Florence Huston. 160 Grove-av; Harold Adams, Route 2,
Lafayette
: Emanuel “Bud” Adams,
Panama City
,
Fla.
There are 13 grandchildren. two great-grandchildren, and three
brothers, Clarence and Victor Little, 1121 McCullough-st, Cecil
Little, 600 S. Main-st, and a sister. Miss Mary Little,
Toledo
. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Wednesday with the Rev. D.
R. Lovely
officiating in the First
church
of
God
. Burial will be in
Shawnee
cemetery. The body
will remain in the Siferd and Son funeral home until time of
services.

Richard
H. West, 57, of 732 Catalpa-av. died of a heart attack Monday
afternoon while working on a road job in Perry-tp. West, a
native Hardin-co had been a resident of
Lima
for the last 20 years. Surviving are his wife, Maude; three
step-daughters, Mrs. Florence Bolander, of 685 S- Union-st; Mrs.
Clara Brown, of 327 E. Second-st; and Mrs. Joann Blue, of
Toledo; two step-sons, Harold Adams, of Munith, Mich., and
Emanuel Adams, of Cordova, Alaska; three sisters; Mrs. Elizabeth
Benner and Mrs. Grace Holycross:, of Kenton and Mrs. Iva Burns,
of Lima. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday at
the
Church
of
God
with Rev. C. L. Quinn, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in
Shawnee
cemetery, with Siferd and Son funeral home in charge . The body
will be removed Tuesday afternoon to the residence of Mrs. Brown
at 327 E. Second-st to
remain until time of services.

F. WHITE
Bevan
F. White, 65, of 400 E. North died at 4:15 a.m. Monday in
Lima
Memorial
Hospital
where he had been a patient since last Thursday. Born
Jan. 17, 1907, in Celina, he was the son of George E. and Martha
E. Pratt White. He married Elizabeth Sawmiller Dec. 26, 1933,
and she survives at 209
S. Pearl
, Spencerville. Also surviving are two daughters, a
brother, a twin sister, and four grandchildren. Mr. White
was a World War II Air Force veteran and was a retired carpenter
and painter. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Thomas E.
Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, Rev. Wesley H. Pummell
officiating. Burial will be in
Spencerville
Cemetery
. Friends may call after 7 tonight at the funeral home.
