J. O'Brien, 58. well known
Lima
resident, died suddenly at 4 p. m. Friday at his home at 121 W.
Robb-av, O'Brien, a brick mason at the Lima Locomotive Works for
over 20 years, was born in Lima and educated at the St. Rose
school. He was a member of St. Gerald Catholic church and Holy
Name society. He is survived by his. widow, Sadie; two sons,
Eugene, at home, and Michael of 240 W. Robb-av; two daughters,
Rita, at home, and Mrs. Catherine Dobbins of Columbus; his
father, Michael O'Brien, retired Lima contractor, of 540 W.
McKibben-st; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Rangler of 230 W, O'Connor-av;
and two grandchildren. Requiem high mass will be celebrated at
St. Gerard's church Tuesday morning at a time to be announced.
Rev. Joseph Bieslin, rector will be celebrant and burial
will be in Gethsemane cemetery. The body has been removed from
the O’Connell and Doolin Funeral home to the residence at 121
W. Robb-av.
