1850, daughter of Samuel Johnson, a resident of Pennsylvania; had issue,
among others: 1. Arthur, b. Jan. 25, 1827, in Archer township; m. Mar.
27, 1851, Susan McDivitt, daughter of Samuel McDivitt, of Stock
township, Harrison county; 2. John, served in the Civil War; d. 1862 in
Knoxville, Tenn.; 3. Jeremiah, served in the Civil War.

of the Wilson College for women, in Chambersburg, Penn.; ii. John-C.;
