AARON YARNALL, son of Thomas Yarnall, born in Washington county, Penn., about 1783; settled in Nottingham township, Harrison county, Ohio, 1811, where he died 1851; married Mary A. Bell, of Washington county; died 1857; had issue: 1. Ziba; 2. William; 3. Aaron; 4. Eli; 5. Colver; 6. John, born Feb. 27, 1827; married (1st) April 24, 1850, "Nackkey" Rogers, died 1861; married (2d) 1833, widow of Thomas Ross, and daughter of Alexander and Sarah Ramsey Fulton, of Nottingham township (had issue by first wife: i. Henry H., settled in Tuscarawas county, Ohio; ii. Sylvester F., settled at Oberlin Kan.; iii. Jasper; had issue by second wife; iv. Mary R.; v. Ida B., ); 7. Nelson;; 8 Lydia; 9 Mary A.

MICHAEL YOST, a native of Virginia, b. Nov. 3, 1766; d. Feb. 2, 1849 of German descendent, as was also his wife; the fathers of both having served in the Revolutionary War; removed to Short Creek township, Harrison county, Ohio, 1806; married Rachel Keckley, born in Virginia, 1780; died Feb. 19, 1849; had issue, among others: Elias, born near Winchester, Frederick County, Va., Dec. 2, 1805; settled in Short Creek township; married (1st) Dec. 30, 1834, Kezia Kithcart, born in Pennsylvania, April 25, 1812; died 1878; daughter of Joseph Kithcart (died in Pennsylvania; his wife settled in Harrison  county 1824); married (2d) March 7, 1880, Ann Macklin, born in county Armagh, Ireland, Dec. 2, 1842, daughter of Samuel and Ann Benson Macklin (both of whom died in Scotland, the former in 1847; the latter in 1858) (had issued by first wife, eleven children).
