JAMES K. WAGNER -
is a farmer of this township. His parents,
George W. and Elizabeth (Guinn) Wagner, came
into the county in 1850. He was born in Athens
county, Oct. 30, 1846; married, in Allen county,
Mar. 8, 1869, Catharine E. Swick, who was
born in Northumberland county, Pennsylvania, Mar.
23, 1847, daughter of Abiathar P. and Sarah C.
(Reeder) Swick. By this union they have
four children: Charles A., born Jan. 30,
1871; Monroe A., Oct. 14, 1872; James I.,
Mar. 8, 1875; Estella A., June 30, 1877.

JARVIS WING - son of
Henry and Eleanor (Frazee) Wing, was born in
Montgomery county, Ohio, in 1825. His father
came with Captain Riley, and assisted
in the survey of the county in 1819. He was
killed Sept. 18, 1843, by a falling tree.
Mr. Jarvis Wing was married in this county in
1850. His wife, Sarah, whose parents,
John and Barbara (Kaler) Dangler, came to
this county in 1837, was born in Bedford county,
Pennsylvania, in 1831. They have had six
children, of whom four are living: Henry,
born June 8, 1851, resides in this county;
Barbara E., Apr. 2, 1853, died Feb. 14,
1854; Eleanor, Jan. 7, 1855, died May
27, 1877; John F., Sept. 3, 1857, livin
in this county; Charles, Sept. 8, 1854;
Oliver, Oct. 3, 1872. Occupation, farming.
